1. Introduction

SLOT Systems Limited ("SLOT", "Company", "we", "us", "our") operates an e-commerce and digital retail platform offering electronics, phones, technology products, and related services within Nigeria. These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and digital purchasing platforms.

2. Binding Agreement

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer", "User") and SLOT. By accessing, browsing, or placing an order on our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights available under applicable Nigerian law.

3. Regulatory Compliance

SLOT operates in compliance with: The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018; The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023; The Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023; and other applicable Nigerian laws. Where any provision conflicts with mandatory statutory rights, such rights shall prevail.

4. Eligibility & Legal Capacity

To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. Users under 18 may only transact under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms. SLOT reserves the right to cancel orders where eligibility is reasonably in doubt.

5. Account Registration

Users may be required to create an account and agree to provide accurate information, maintain confidentiality of login credentials, and accept responsibility for activities under their account. SLOT may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.

6. Electronic Communications

By using the platform, you consent to receive communications electronically including order confirmations, payment notifications, delivery updates, service announcements, and policy updates. Marketing communications remain subject to opt-out rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

7. Order Placement & Contract Formation

All orders are subject to acceptance by SLOT. An order confirmation acknowledges receipt but does not constitute final acceptance. A binding contract is formed only when payment is verified and the product is dispatched or made available for pickup.

8. Product Listings & Pricing

While we strive for accuracy, technical or typographical errors may occur. SLOT reserves the right to cancel affected orders prior to dispatch and issue refunds where such errors occur.

9. Promotions, Discounts & Campaigns

Promotions may include discount codes, flash sales, bundles, or preorder gifts. Unless expressly stated, promotions cannot be combined, codes are non-transferable, offers are time-limited, and gifts remain subject to availability.

10. Pre-Order Terms

For preorder products, a deposit may be required and balance payment must be completed before dispatch. Availability dates are estimates only. Failure to complete payment within the stated timeframe may result in cancellation.

11. High-Demand Product Allocation

Certain products such as newly launched devices or limited-stock promotional items may experience exceptionally high demand. Where demand exceeds available inventory, SLOT reserves the right to allocate available stock based on order confirmation sequence, limit quantities per customer, delay fulfillment where inventory replenishment is expected, or cancel orders where stock becomes unavailable before dispatch. Payments will be refunded per the refund policy where orders are cancelled due to stock limitations.

12. Payment Terms

Payments are processed through certified third‑party payment gateways. SLOT is not liable for banking network failures, gateway downtime, or reversals not caused by SLOT.

13. Returns & Refunds

Returns are subject to the official Return Policy.

13.1 DOA (Dead on Arrival)

DOA issues must be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery and are subject to technical verification.

13.2 Refund Timeline

Approved refunds shall be processed within 7–14 working days using the original payment method. Processing timelines may be affected by bank settlement processes or regulatory timelines beyond SLOT's control. Refunds may also be delayed for fraud review, payment verification, or regulatory compliance.

14. Delivery & Risk Transfer

Risk transfers upon confirmed delivery to the address provided at checkout.

15. Warranty Policy

Warranty coverage applies as stated per product category and claims may require technical verification through authorized service centers.

16. Device Activation & IMEI Verification

Mobile phones and smart devices may contain unique identifiers such as IMEI or serial numbers. SLOT may record these identifiers at the point of sale for verification during returns, warranty claims, or refunds. Devices activated on a mobile network or used beyond reasonable inspection may no longer qualify for return as new products except for Dead on Arrival conditions or verified technical defects.

17. Product Compatibility

Customers are responsible for confirming network compatibility, voltage requirements, and regional specifications before purchase.

18. Third‑Party Services

The platform may integrate services such as payment gateways, logistics providers, and manufacturer service centers. SLOT is not responsible for third‑party policies or performance.

19. Data Protection & Account Deletion

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023. Full details regarding data collection and processing are contained in the SLOT Privacy Policy available on the website.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Nigerian law, SLOT shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, business interruption, or reputational loss. Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in dispute. Nothing in this clause excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Nigerian consumer protection law.

21. Force Majeure

SLOT shall not be liable for delays or failure due to natural disasters, civil unrest, government restrictions, power outages, or infrastructure collapse.

22. Consumer Complaint Resolution

Customers may submit complaints through official support channels. SLOT will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly. Where resolution is not achieved, customers retain the right to escalate matters to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

23. Fraud Prevention & Suspicious Orders

Orders may be subject to verification procedures including identity confirmation, payment checks, or address validation. SLOT may delay, cancel, or refuse orders suspected of payment fraud, identity misrepresentation, suspicious purchasing patterns, or automated transactions. Fraudulent activity may be reported to relevant financial institutions or law enforcement.

24. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through internal complaint resolution, mediation in Lagos, and binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Mediation Act 2023.

25. Amendments

SLOT may update these Terms from time to time and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance.

26. Severability

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain valid.

27. Entire Agreement

These Terms together with the Privacy Policy and Return Policy constitute the entire agreement governing online purchases.

28. Governing Language

These Terms are drafted in English. In case of translation inconsistency, the English version shall prevail.
